1 / What is a Supporters Group?

Futbol is a completley different experience than other professional sports. We take an active role in creating a fun experience for fans, a hostile environment for opposing players, and the SURGE of energy our club needs for 90+ minutes.

Joining a SG lets you be part of that process, to help make decisions and take part of activities that shape HDFC.

2 / How did The Surge get started?

The idea of The Surge started in the summer of 2019. Began more as a joke between a group of friends rapidly grew and became serious thru social media. We wanted something different. A different idea of what it means to support and love our club.

3 / Do I have to be a Surge  Member to pregame or stand in Section 116?

Absolutely not! Everyone is welcome to pregame at Pitch 25 or stand with us in Section 116. All we ask is that you are standing, cheering, and supporting the orange for 90+!

4 / Do I have to have tickets or stand in the Supporters Section to join The Surge?

Nope! The only requirement to join us is to support the biggest club in the world, Houston Dynamo FC. Regardless if you stand in the Supporters Section or have season tickets in Section 226 or no season tickets at all! We are more than just the 90+ minutes each home matchday. We have our discord server, we pregame, we host watch parties, we make tifos, we plan events, etc. All are welcome to join.

5 / What are the Surge Member Benefits?

All Members will recieve our 2024 Member Scarf, access to our Discord Channel, Priority to Playoff Tickets, Away Days, HDFC Events, etc. Discounts to our partnering pregame and watch party spots. Help with TIFOs, flags & banners. And be part of the DynaFam! In addition, Silver Members will get our exclusive 2024 Surge Jersey with custom name and number on the back. Silver Membership deadline is January 31st 2024.

6 / Where is my money going?

Membership dues enable us to be self-sufficient and purchase the basic needs of a SG such as flags, banners, merchandise, this website, storage unit and other operating expenses. All money is used solely to provide for the group.
